The realistic simulation of optical systems makes the use of precise and close-to-reality light source models inevitable. opsira GmbH delivers ray data of different light sources such as bulbs, gas discharge light sources, LEDs and OLEDs for the following optics simulation programmes:

Depending on the simulation programme, the data are available binary coded or in ASCII-format.
We measure the light sources with the help of a near-field luminance goniometer and deliver the data in an opsira original format. The cost-free luca'raymaker software enables the export of the ray data for the different simulation programmes. The user is able to determine the number of desired rays individually.
