goniometer
g
In the field of optical systems engineering a goniometer is described as an automated and multiaxial manipulator for the adjustment of arbitrary incident angles or measurement directions on a virtual sphere around a sample. We need goniometers to be able to receive luminous intensity distribution data, ray data or scatter light data, in combination with the respective detectors.
There are various types of goniometers:
- goniometer with luminaire turning device
- goniometer with mirror arrangement
- source imaging goniometer
- BSDF goniometer
- robot goniometer
opsira delivers different types of photogoniometers for the characterization of light sources, luminaires and materials. The goniometers are used in laboratories as well as production control. We offer goniometer measurement services carried out in our laboratories.
You will find further information on photogoniometers here.
q.v..: near-field photogoniometer, ray data, scatter light measurement, luminous intensity distribution, BSDF
